Two probate notices from 1847.


PROBATE NOTICE—State of Michigan, County of Lapeer, October 18th, 1847.

On reading and filing the petition of S D McKeen, for the appointment of an administrator on the estate of Malachi Catur, late of said county of Lapeer, deceased, it is hereby ordered by the Judge of Probate in and for said county, that all persons interested in the estate appear at a probate court to be held at the court house in the village of Lapeer in the said county on the second Monday in December next at five o’clock in the afternoon, to show cause if any they have, why the prayer of said petitioner should not be granted, and that said McKeen notify all persons interested by publishing a copy of this order for three successive weeks previous to the time of holding said court in a newspaper published in the county of Wayne called the Democratic Free Press.
