A newspaper article from 1848, about a new woollen (or woolen) factory at Lapeer.

NEW WOOLLEN FACTORY AT LAPEER.—A new woollen factory has just been completed and is now in operation, near the county seat of Lapeer county. It was built by E. H. Higley, Esq. Some idea of the increase of sheep in that region, may be inferred from the fact, that this new mill, has in store, from the farmers in the vicinity rising 900 sacks, of wool of various sizes, for manufacture.
