Amos Winnie was born in Millbrook, Mich., July 31, 1906 and passed away
July 7, 1937 at the age of 30 years, 11 months and 24 days. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife and 5 children, Richard, Robert, Vera, Jack and Ione. A stepson, Clarence Brisboy of Belding and a step-daughter, Arlene Musson of Six Lakes. His mother, Mrs. George Deardorff, of Millbrook, one brother, Dan of Spokane, Washington, three sisters, Mrs. Ida Blackmere of Remus, Mrs. Mary Robinson of Pleasant Valley and Alice Winnie of Detroit, a host of many other relatives and friends, also mourn his passing. He attended grade school at Millbrook and high school in Remus. In 1928 he was united in marriage to Mrs. Virginia Musson of Belding. They made their home in Belding and later Milbrook. About four years ago they came to Midland County to live, and have since lived in the vicinity of Pleasant Valley. He was buried in Shepherd Cemetery. |
