She was daughter of Brynhild Helliksen and his second wife Ingeborg Olsen, married 20 NOV 1835. She died 1895 in Michigan, buried in Pilgrim Home Cemetery, plot GR1-B-19-2.

Brynild Helliksens first wife was Berthe Hansen, born 1790 to Hans Nilsen Eeg and Gunhild Gunderson. She died 22 JUL 1833 in Bamble.

Two children from this first marriage lived in Holland, Ottawa: Hans Henrik Brynilsen and Gunhild Carine Brynilsen Knutson.

Gunhild Carine Brynilsen, (wife and cousin )of Hans Christian Knutson. They had immigrated 1864. Both buried in Pilgrim Home.

They are ancestors to the Knutson family in Holland, Ottawa.

His niece immigrated also; Hanna Henriette Brynildsen , b 23 FEB 1862, - daughter of Anne Margrethe Brynilsen (b Jan 1824 d ) and Brynild Andersen b 1819. Hanna Henriette was married in Holland 1879, to her cousin Bernhard Gustav Knutson, b Langesund, Telemark 17 NOV 1852- died 21 JUN 1928. Buried at Pilgrim Home.
