"We in Lenawee County are fortunate to have readable micro-film copies of early Lenawee County newspapers. Here are some excerpts from one page of the first issue of THE ADRIAN DAILY TIMES, for 1891." - Excerpted by Jeannette Dickerson "Dr. D. W. Loree, of Ridgeway, telephones to this office the birth of a son to Mr. and Mrs. Roy Harrison, of Ridgeway. The child was born Sunday night just as the midnight bells chimed in the New Year, and the Ridgeway friends assume that it was the only child born in Michigan at the birth of the New Year."
