IRISH, ALBERTA L. "BERT"

Daily News, Greenville, MI - Monday, June 14, 1999

Greenville - Alberta L. "Bert" Irish, 84, West Judd Street, Greenville, died at the home of her son on Friday evening, June 11, 1999.

She was born in Ionia on Nov. 14, 1914, the daughter of Albert and Louise MILLER JOHNSON. She was married to Paul B. IRISH at the Irish family home in Greenville on June 25, 1937.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Arthur JOHNSON, and her sisters, Helen SMITH and Marie BADDER.

Alberta was a charter member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church of Greenville and its Ladies Circle and the Quilters of the Church. She was to celebrate her 62nd wedding anniversary this month with her husband, Paul, who survives.

Also surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Amanda IRISH of Greenville; her daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Bill HUNSICKER of Springfield, Tenn.; her grandchildren, Tracy and Rob GUSTAFSON of Neenah, Wis., Harmon and Melissa HUNSICKER of Nashville, Tenn., Cindy IRISH of Key Largo, Fla., Nancy IRISH and Jim and Pam IRISH of South Haven, Nahim and Penny IRISH and Farid and Kim IRISH of Grand Rapids; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Greenville, with the Rev. Joseph Fremer officiating. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery, Greenvlle.

Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Hurst Funeral Home, Greenville.

Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church.

IRISH, CLAIR E.

Daily News, Greenville, MI - Wednesday, April 28, 1999

Greenville - Clair E. IRISH, 79, Las Cruces, N.M., formerly of Greenville, entered eternal life on Saturday, April 17, 1999, at Memorial Medical Center, Las Cruces, N. M.

He was born Dec. 10, 1919, in Greenville, the son of Nathan and Sadie OLSON IRISH.

Mr. IRISH retired from Northland Refrigeration, Greenville.

He is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn COPELAND IRISH; one son David IRISH of Springfield, Ill.; one daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Jack EKIN of Boulder, Colo.; one brother and sister-in-law, Bruce and Phyllis IRISH of Estherville, Iowa; four grandchildren, Lindy EKIN of Seattle, Wash., Lisa EKIN of Boulder, Colo., Jonathan IRISH and Benjamin IRISH, both of Lansing; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one son, Bruce N.A. IRISH.

Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Greenville, with the Rev. Paul Jones officiating. Interment will be in Forest Home Cemetery, Greenville.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Clair's memory to the Alzheimer's Association.

The Brown-Teman Funeral Home, Greenville, is serving the family.

IRISH, MINNIE

Daily News, Greenville, MI - Friday, February 19, 1999

Greenville - Minnie IRISH, 92, Greenville, passed away Thursday, Feb. 18, 1999, at United Memorial Hospital, Greenville.

She was born Oct. 23, 1906, in Accrington, England, the daughter of William and Alice BUSSELL.

Minnie is survived by her daughter, Joyce BARKER of Greenville; daughter and son-in-law, Wilma and Larry EWING of Gainesville, Fla.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Gerald and Shirley IRISH of Waterford, William and Iris IRISH of Louisville, Ky.; and by her 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted A. IRISH, in 1969; her son-in-law, Terry M. BARKER in 1995; and her sister, Anna ALLINSON.

She was a sales clerk for Vaughn's clothing store in Greenville for many years and was a member of the First Congregational Church and Salem Circle, the Rebeccas and was a life member of the Order of Eastern Star, which she joined at age 16.

Visitation will be 7 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday and from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Marshall Funeral Home, Greenville. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Jerry Jones officiating. Burial will be in River Ridge Cemetery, Belding.

Memorial contributions can be made in Minnie's name to the First Congregational Church, or the American Heart Association.

IRISH, PATRICK DOUGLAS

Notice of Death – Montcalm County – Greenville, MI

Born: 5/12/1951
Died: 4/7/2009

Preceding him in death were his father Arvin on April 17, 2000 and also his brother Kurt Douglas Irish in 1949.

He is survived by his daughters, Kaitlin Irish and Shannon Irish both attending Central Michigan University, his mother, Audrey of Greenville, his sister Jill and her husband Craig Lapham of Mason, nephew Kirk and Kim Lapham and great nephew Grant Lapham, his aunts, Gwendolyn Packard of Kansas City, Missouri, Eleanor Thatcher of Oklahoma and cousins.
