Marilyn (Colbus) Cooper 

Marilyn (Colbus) Cooper, aged 74, of Cedar Springs, Michigan. Lyn also known as Bubs or Bubbles to her family and friends in Munising, Michigan, left her earthly home on the morning of March 15, 2004 to join Jesus, after her third courageous battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents Leo and Evelyn Colbus and stepdaughter, Mary Jo Cooper.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Kenneth Cooper of Cedar Springs; daughters, Sharon Drake, Char Livermore, Lee Gregg, Stepchildren, Jim (Sue) Cooper, Robert Cooper, William (Yvonne) Cooper, and Deb (Bob) Rozella; her brothers Lee (Judy) Colbus, Dennis (Anita) Colbus, and sisters, Cleo (George) Steinhoff all in Munising, Mi. and Anita (Denis) Hurst of Big Rapids, sister-in-law Jean Stanford; ten grandchildren, five great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home chapel with Rev. David Van Harten of Pioneer Christian Reformed Church officiating. Interment will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donation Hospice of Michigan would be appreciated.
