Township Histories

I've not been able to find histories for all the townships, cities, towns, and villages of Alger County. Towns that have been written about (some currently have only one sentence) are in bold lettering.

Corrections and additions to any already in place will also be gratefully accepted.

Not included in the above chart are: Deimling, Doly, Louds Spur, Masters, Ridge, Sand River, and Shelter Bay. I'm still trying to determine whether or not these areas are still inhabited or have gone the way of ghost towns.
