Constance Connie Davis, age 63, of E11306 County Road H-15, Munising, died on Sunday, November 2, 2008 at Marquette General Hospital. She was born on April 3, 1945 in Detroit to John and Pearl (Pyrzewski) Skorka and was raised in Ubly, Michigan. Connie married Edward Davis on August 10, 1963. Together, they enjoyed hunting and fishing together. Connie was a member of Sacred Heart Church. She loved animals always donating to the Humane Society , knitting, and cooking. Connie was family oriented, enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, and spending time outdoors with the animals while visiting her sister Helen in Vassar, MI.
Connie is survived by her husband of over forty-five years Ed Davis of Munising; two sons Tony Cilc of Caseville, MI and Eddie (Cathy) Davis of Wetmore; daughter Donna Jane (Tony) Grahovac of Munising; grandchildren Samantha, Jeff, Heather, Kurt, David, Craig, Danyel, Craig, Cori, Carri, Jason, and Anthony; great-grandchildren Devin and Dylan; brother Bill (Nancy) Pyrzewski; and numerous nieces and nephews. Connie was preceded in death by her parents, sister Helen Schenk, and brother Chet Pyrzewski.
Visitation will be at the Bowerman Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 4, 2008 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. with a Parish Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. Father Chris Gardiner will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Church on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at the Germfask Cemetery following the Mass.
