Steven J. MacGregor, age 46, of Waterford, MI died unexpectedly at his home on November 2, 2008 after fighting a lengthy illness. He was born on December 29, 1961 to James and Lena MacGregor in Watertown, NY. Steven was an artist who enjoyed painting, sculpting, ceramics, and writing poetry. He loved his family and had a close relationship with his mother.
Steven is survived by his mother – Lynn (Bill) Platt of Grand Marais, MI; brothers – Christian (Sandi) MacGregor of Lakeland FL and Vincent (Brenda) MacGregor of Milaca, MN; grandma – Lillian Pettey of Natural Bridge, NY; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father James MacGregor in April of 1968.
A memorial service is planned for this spring in Grand Marais.
