Anne M. Moros
(January 1, 1919 - April 22, 2007)
 

Anne M. Moros, age 88, former longtime resident of Varnum Street, Munising, died on Sunday afternoon, April 22, 2007 at the Tendercare Health Center in Munising. She was born on January 1, 1919 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late Michael and Angeline Cianciolo. Anne married Alfred “Alfie” Moros January 11, 1947. She was a long time member of the American Legion Auxiliary, and Sacred Heart Church. Anne also spent many hours volunteering at St. Vincent De Paul.

She is survived by her children – Angela “Jill” (Ron) Rochon of Milledgeville, GA, Alfred (Barb) Moros of Sussex, WI, Joanne Moros of Chassell, MI; grandchildren - Garnet (Jennifer) Rochon, Aryan (Val) Rochon, Jean (Bob) Cornell, Sandy (Jeff) Rehle, and Leah (Jeff) Hintz; great-grandchildren – Gage and Chris; sisters – Lou, Rose, and Josephine; and numerous nieces and nephews. Anne was preceded in death by her husband Alfie; parents - Michael and Angeline; four brothers, and two sisters.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, April 30, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church in Munising. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Legion Post # 131.
