LEO F. PASSINAULT

Leo F. Passinault, age 82, passed away Saturday, July 24, 2004 at St. Lukes Hospital in Maumee, Ohio. He was the son of the late Alsid and Octavia (Sovie) Passinault, Leo was born November 27, 1921 in Munising. He married Juanita Louise LaMont on June 17, 1944. She survives him. Leo had been employed by Daniel’s Jewelry Store and Zales as a jeweler retiring in 1980. He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Saginaw and St. Rose Catholic Church in Perrysburg, Ohio.

He is survived by: his wife, Juanita; daughters & son – Victoria (Larry) Watz of Lupton, Terrance F. of Linwood, Marie J. (Dale) Fraunce of Gainesville, GA, Beth Ann (John) Manning of Perrysburg, OH; grandchildren – David, Christopher, Kerrie, Terry Jr., Robin, Michelle, Jamie, Justin, Brandon, Forrest and Lucas; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Virginia (Howard) Garber of Port Richey, Florida; brothers – Richard (Audrey), Louis (Sylvia), and Lester (Arvilla), all of Munising; sisters-in-law, Sophie and Julia, both of Munising; also several nieces and nephews.

Leo was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Raymond, Earl, Vernon, Floyd, Alsid, Mae Chilcott, Mildred Belfry, Emily LaPointe, Dolly Erickson and Marie.

A Mass of Christian Burial took place on Tuesday, July 27, 2004 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Reb. Fr. Robert Konopa, O.L.F.M., will officiate with cremation to follow. Private burial of cremains will take place in Maple Grove Cemetery, Munising.
