I am looking for any information on the GODFREY surname, specifically in reference to the Godfrey Family Reunion, which was established in Southern Michigan in 1887 by GP Godfrey of Parma,
Michigan... yes... this is Jackson Co, but many, many relatives and others with this surname have lived throughout

I am searching for information on John GODFREY and his wife Arminda JOHNSON. John and Arminda had at least 2 daughters, Lucy GODFREY, married 1st to a HOPKINS (they lived in Detroit), then to Andrew STAMP, and Catherine GODFREY, married John WILSON. It appears John died between 1839 and 1841 in New York, either Cayuga, Tompkins, or Tioga County. Arminda then married Tobias MUSSULMAN, in New York, and moved to Alamo Twp, Kalamazoo Co, MI, about 1842-43.

I am seeking information on Elijah SORTORE, son of Jonathan SORTORE and Mary LONGCORE, b. 31 Oct 1811, prob. in Allegany Co., N.Y., d. 3 Mar 1855, prob. Kalamazoo, MI. He was married to Ester ?. Their know children were: Stella Lorane, b. 29 Sep 1835; Ensico Elijah, b. 16 Mar 1838 and Willis M., b. 20 May 1854. Elijah's parents settled in Adams Twp., Hillsdale Co., MI sometime after 1820. I am looking for information about my great-grandfather, Charles Henry WARNER, born about 1846 in Kalamazoo, Mich. I think he came from a large family and was somewhat the black sheep of the family. He left home at the age of 15-16 to fight in the Civil War. Where he was from 1865-1876 is unknown. In 1876, he settled in Orange County, Calif. William DeLAND was b. NY 1821 and lived in Charlotte for some time. I don;t know who his father was. I think Sarah
Jane, his wife, was b. NY and died at Charlotte. George married Esther GILMAN. .Frederick was b.at Plymouth, MI and Lydia was b, in Canada, she married Henry WILSON. I can only trace the family back to

Joseph Bagget AU was my g-g-grandfather, and he was married to Maria Ursula BADER, my g-g-grandmother. Joseph came to New York in 1853 from Allmendshofen, Donaueschingen, Baden, Germany with his wife and three of his children, Joseph, Jr., Agatha and Emily. Agatha died soon after arrival in New York. The family farmed in New York for a short time, and then moved to Portage in Kalamazoo County, Michigan, where Joseph bought a farm, which he and his son, Joseph, Jr., farmed. Joseph Sr. and his wife moved to Georgia in 1867, accompanied by Emily and Joseph, Jr. Son Herman and daughter Rosa (my g-grandmother) preceded the family to New York, then joined them in Michigan, and proceeded to California when the rest of family moved to Georgia. Julia came to America later and proceeded directly to
