parents except that her mother's name was SARAH,that she was from England
and she was married 3 times-once to Lillian's father and one of the other
husbands was OLLIE BELFY. Any information on the above people would be
greatly appreciated. If anyone has common ancesters I would be glad to share

Maybe there are some more family members out there we don't know about.

Searching
for descendents of Albert and Mary Jane MORRISON (POLITE) of Ashland. Mary
Jane was the daughter fo Janett and David POLITE of Bailey of Casnovia
township. She was born approx. 1845 in Branch County Michigan and moved
to Muskegon county with her family around 1861. Albert and Mary Jane had
eight children, Fred, Jennie, Ida, James, Maudie, Earl, James and George
and they lived their entire life in Ashland in Newaygo county. Her father
David's parentage and origins remain a mystery to me. On most of the Cenus
records that I can find, his place of birth is usually noted as "at sea"
or "atlantic ocean". One time though it was noted at Canada and then later
New York. He would have been born around 1817. I assume from this that
he was born at sea on voyage over to the U.S. I have been unable to determine
Janett's maiden name, although she notes that she was born in Ireland.
A query to another county gave me some promising information. I was told
that Janett may have been a sister to a Margaret GAGE, if that is so her
parent's names were Nancy and Joseph KIDD and that they came to the U.S.
around 1826 from Ireland. I would like any information possible, I also
thought it would be nice if someone had any family pictures that I would
be able to look at. I have a picure of David POLITE that was taken in Bailey
around 1865-1870 with a pair of oxen and hay wagon if any family members
would like to see it

to live with her father in Palmyra NY. I'm not sure if Benjamin and Sophronia
moved to Muskegom County alone, or if he had brothers or sisters that may
have moved with them. Any information would be helpful.

FRANCISCO
in Western MI: Looking for the parents of Carrie FRANCISCO. She was born
in MN (county yet to be discovered ;) 7-1866 and died in 1918 in Muskegon
county. She married Wheeler SYERS in 1885 in either Muskegon or Newago
county. They later resided in Blue Lake Township where they had the following
children: Martha (Mattie), Adelbert (Berton), Francis, Roy, and Delta Elizabeth.
(Wheeler was the son of David Alexander and Laura Louisa SYERS of Holton.)
Carrie's parents were born in MI, according to federal census records.
An Adelbert Hugh FRANCISCO and Lula FRANCISCO were involved in a civil
dispute, according to Muskegon county court records, sometime before 1900.
This may have been her older brother or an uncle. We do have a family Bible
that belonged to Carrie but are not sure of the relationship of the people
listed. Also, we believe they may have been part of the Dutch Reformed
FRANCISCO (FRANCISCUS) line from New Jersey, originally from the Netherlands.
Every little bit helps so please contact me if you know something! names:
FRANCISCO, Carrie; FRANCISCO, Adelbert Hugh; FRANCISCO, Lula; SYERS, Wheeler;
SYERS, Martha (Mattie); SYERS, Adelbert (Berton); SYERS, Francis; SYERS,

name and husband's first name unknown, was born in NY in 1815.) Charles
S. & Emaline L. MONROE had one daughter, Manilla D., born 5-30-1898.
