looking for inormation on Frederick W. Stroup, he and his wife, Henrietta
lived somewhere near or in the town of Trent ca 1880-1885. He belonged
to the IOOF Lodge there and served as Grand Master and Secretary during
his tenure. Any help on him or his family, who I believe also lived around
there at that time, will be greatly appreciated!

lookingfor my great grandfather. His name was George W Cohoon Sr. He was
married to Edith Schroeder, had 4 sons and died in Muskegon between 1910
and 1913. Edith was his second wife. We are hoping that his death record
will possibly give us his parent's names. Can you help? My name is Cheryl

Muskegon News Chronicle March 16, 1912: GEORGE COHOON, 57 E. Hamburg Street,
Died at Mercy Hospital last night at 10:30 o'clock after an illness of
about one year's duration. He was 49 years of age and leaves a wife and
four children. Any information is appreciated. Thanks.

Researching
around Muskegon Co.,and vicinity. I am looking for Isreal Adelbert and
Joseph Russell. They were brothers and both married Mary Louisa (Arntz)
Russell.She had 8 children with Isreal Adelbert Russell and 3 children
with Joseph she was born in 1873 Ithica, Michigan and died October 30,
1954 in Muskegon, Michigan. Joseph-I have no dates on him. Isreal Adelbert

for info on the Eakright(with all spelling variations) family from Muskegon
County from about 1860 onward. Am especially interested in finding info
on George Washington Eakright's service with the Michigan 21st Infantry,Company

trying to find the John Dorman family. They settled in Muskegon County
in 1867. His wife was Susan and they are buried in Oakwood cemetery there.
There were six children. Jane, Margaret, Thomas, Miriam, John and Philip.

F: Micheal/M:unknown KAAS,Gottlieb (b. 21 Apr 1834) and unknown KAAS brother
emigrated from Prussia in 1871, initially settled in Coldwater, Branch
Co., MI. Gottlieb KAAS married Marie Sophia L. JENNINGS in 1874, settled
in Burr Oak, St. Joseph Co., MI. The 1817 obit of Gottlieb mentions "a
brother in Muskegon, MI" as a survivor but does not mention his first name.
May have possibly worked on the railroad or been a farmer. Would be willing
to exchange data on this family!
