Barringer book index table
The Barringer, et al inscriptions index table contents below were contributed in 2005 for MIGenWeb use by Betty Brokoff Barringer and “the Cemetery Club” members Carlie Welker Klumpp, Barbara Briggs Foster and JoEllyn Lawson Pedota, from the book Arenac County Michigan Cemetery Inscriptions.

The burial information provided may be name, section and row location, dates, and inscription. No Coon Family Cemetery plot map is currently available. A FindAGrave entry displays a death certificate for Jacob Coon (1849-1930), husband of Julia Cabay Coon, but the Barringer book does not include an entry for him, nor does FindAGrave show a stone or grave location identifying an acutual interment.

The Barringer book index for Coon Family Cemetery has been reformatted for this page.3 The compiler retains all rights. Inscriptions transcribed by Betty Brokoff Barringer, Barbara Briggs Foster and Carlie Welker Klumpp. We’ve provided a PDF of the Barringer book burial index that appeared on the old MIGenWeb site.

Note on the Coon Family Cemetery on FindAGrave
The Barringer book does not include an entry for Jacob Coon (1849-1930), nor does FindAGrave show a stone or grave location. A site contributor has posted a death certificate for Jacob as the husband of Julia Cabay Coon but doesn’t identify an actual interment.
