Centennial farms
The Michigan Centennial Farm Program (MCFP) celebrates working farms of 10 or more acres that have remained in the same family for 100 or more years. MCF highlights these historical farms’ contributions to the progress, culture and prosperity of Michigan. MCFP has certified thousands of farms since its introduction in 1948. The Historical Society of Michigan, which was established in 1828, took over the program operation in 2008.
