| OSBORNE, CLARENCE R. - Battle Creek Enquirer Sep. 12, 2007
Clarence R. "Clem" Osborne Battle Creek Clarence R. "Clem" Osborne, 67, of Battle Creek died Monday, September 10, 2007 at Battle Creek Health System. Clem was born in Battle Creek the son of Harold D. & Elma (Gillons) Osborne. He was formerly employed at Eaton Manufacturing Company, Leila Hospital and retired from Grand Trunk Western Railroad in 2001 after 37 years. Clem enjoyed NASCAR racing, football and family gatherings. At the request of the family, friends may call at the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home Thursday from 9-8 p.m., where they will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Friday, September 14, 2007 at the funeral home with Pastor Jim Sparks officiating. | OSBORNE, HAROLD D. - Battle Creek
Enquirer Jan. 14, 1997 Harold D. Osborne, 86 of Battle Creek, died Sunday, Jan. 12 1997 in Battle Creek Health System. He was born July 8, 1910 in Battle Creek to William C. and Edith A. (Smith) Osborne and was a life long resident. He attended Battle Creek Public Schools. He worked for eight years at Post Cereals and then was employed as a machine operator at Hannah Cement Co. for 40 years. His marriages to Ruth Healy and Alma Gillons ended in divorce. He married Clara May Pierce on Sept. 5, 1965 in Munsing, MI. She survives. He was preceded in death by a daughter Evelyn Osborne, a step son Harley Ellis, a grand daughter Kim Osborne, brothers Clifford, Ray, Delbert and Walt Osborne and sisters Ada Belle Keagle and Doris Crowell. Moon, Aug. 31, 1900 The funeral of Mrs. Calvin Osgood, who died at the Haskell Home, was held yesterday afternoon and internment was made at Oak Hill cemetery. |
