PATTERSON, ELIZABETH - SUNDAY MORNING
CALL, MAR. 7, 1886 Elizabeth Patterson died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Herbert Warner, No. 5 Kalamazoo street, Monday, of consumption, aged sixty-eight years. The funeral was held at the residence Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. Chipperfield preaching. |
PATTERSON, VALERIA M. (MCNEES) - Battle Creek Enquirer Feb 17, 1998
Valeria M. Patterson, 84, of Battle Creek, died Sunday, Feb. 15, 1998, in Tendercare Marshall. She was born in Wexford County to Clifton B. and Altha M. (Drake} McNees. She owned and managed Frances Dress Shop in Port Huron for 25 years. Her husband, Orville Patterson, died in 1978. Surviving are 2 sons; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; 5 brothers; and a sister. Also preceding her in death were brothers, Clarence and Clifton McNees; and sisters, Dorothy Hutchins, Margaret Rybka and Yvonne Dellago. Visitation: At Shaw Funeral Home, where family will be present from 4 to 8 p.m. today. Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. PETERSON, JUNE ISABELLE (CORKINS) - Battle Creek Enquirer & News Oct. 17, 1991
June Isabelle (Corkins) Peterson, 70, of Battle Creek, died Wednesday, Nov. 16, 1991, at home after a long illness. Mrs. Peterson was born in Battle Creek, to Frederick & Jeanette (Wheat) Corkins. She was a life long resident of the Battle Creek and Ceresco areas. She attended Battle Creek Central High School and worked for 25 years at Kellogg Co. She retired in 1982. She was a member of the Kellogg 25-Year Club and member and past president of the Reserve Officer's Association Ladies. She attended Christ Community Church. In June 5, 1937, she married Ralph L. Peterson, in Angola, Ind., He survives. Also surviving are a daughter; a son Max L. Peterson of Bellevue; 9 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Gilbert Corkins of Nashville; and a sister. A son, Jonathan R. Peterson died in 1985. Visitation: After noon today at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home. Services: 11 a.m. Friday at Christ Community Church, 3142 S. W. Capital Ave., with the Rev. James L. Moore Officaiting. Burial: Fort Custer National Cemetery Memorials: Good Samaritan Hospice Care. NOTE: Birth Date & Names of Survivors have been deleted for privacy. As of the date I posted this obituary: Ralph L. PHILLIS, MARGARET - Morning Enquirer, Page 6
Miss Magaret Phillis passed away from general debility yesterday at the James White Memorial Home on Aldrich Street, of which she had been an inmate since 1897. She was 63 years of age, and came there from Pennsyvania. Funeral Services conducted by Chaplain McCoy. Internment will be in the Haskell Home Cemetery. NOTE: Haskell Home Cemetery no longer exists.
