Searching for descendants/family members of James BREESE, b. 1776, Albany County, NY. A BREESE family history written by William Edmond BREESE in 1909, indicated that James BREESE, son of Henry G. BREESE and Sally Maria Tice was the custodian of the "Breese Family Bible" and several interesting heirlooms. He supposedly removed to Ionia, Michigan. Susan S.HOPKINS, dau of Orren and Hannah, married a William WHITE, ca.1858 and they had a son, Cassius Gustavus WHITE. Susan then remarried in 1879 to Azel FITCH. Need marriage date of Susan and William. Also, who were his parents and siblings. Would like to find out if Susan and William divorced or if he died sometime before she married again. William WOOLLEY (WOOLEY). We don't know if he was born in Steuben County, NY but we do know he lived there at least temporarily. He then went to Dumfries Twp., Ontario, Canada prior to 1825. He lived in Canada for approximately 18 years then moved again ending up in Ionia County, Michigan where his family stayed. Would like to find out any information possible. Who his parents were, where he was born and when, etc. He m. Laura Martin and their children were: 1.Dewitt Clinton b. 21-Jun-1810, 2. Albert b. 12-May-1812, 3. Eudocia May b.2-Jan-1813. Ethel's parents are reported to be Phillip(Philip) MONK(S) AND Cora?. Monks and Lawrence's reported living in Orange twp & Keene twp. Need help with moving up husbands family tree.

Searching for information about Charles G. BROOKS and his family as well as for his descendants. Charles and his family settled in Danby twp., Ionia Co., MI around 1837 along with at least one of his brothers, Willard L. Brooks and family. Charles G. Brooks was first married to Betsy Grant HARRISON around 1836 in NY and had 5 children from this marriage. His second marriage was to Ellen Simmons MACUMBER around 1850 a year after his first wife died and he had four children with from his second marriage. Tracing the family of James HALLAHAN (b.1818?, Ireland) and his wife Ellen (b. 1819? Ireland) . They moved to Muir, Ionia Cty between 1854-1857 with their 3 dtrs.(Ann, Mary, & Margaret) who were born in N.Y. Two sons (James & John) were born in Ionia County. May have belonged to Sts. Peter&Paul Catholic Church. Oldest dtr. Ann married Aldelbert WILLIAMS about 1865-68. James HALLAHAN was a blacksmith as of 1860 census, but died by 1870 census). Need info about where they might have lived in New York prior to 1854, and even better where in Ireland James and Ellen were born. All info will be much appreciated.

Searching for information on Marcus BRODERICK, b. 1835, Clare County, Ireland, d. abt 1890 in MI and Amelia ARMITAGE, b. 1845, Grass Lake, Jackson County, MI, d. 1926 in Kenosha, WI. They were married March 24, 1867 in Kalamazoo. The 1880 census shows them living in Lyons, Ionia County with children: Marcus, b. 1869; Mary b. 1873; Phoebe, b. 1875; and Susan, b. 1878. Would like to contact descendants to share information.

He was born 7 Apr 1859, md. 17 Mar 1886 to Elva Luella ROBINSON (b.19 Nov 1868 in Grand Haven, Barry Co.,MI) and died 4 July 1937 in Big Rapids, MI. Would be interested in sharing info. about his descendants. Would like to know more about where he came from and whether his father really was Richard SPRAGUE and his mother Nancy DREWS?

They moved to Ionia Co, MI 1861 and had Lafayette 1862, Alice M. 1866, Burtis/Bert 1871, Shirley 1875. Jacob LEPARD, Daniel's brother, m.1857 Lucretia PALMETER and also moved to Ionia Co.
