CHEESEBOROUGH, REYNOLDS posted by Cheryl Reynolds Kenter on Monday, March 1, 1999

CHEESEBOROUGH, John and wife REYNOLDS, Harriet, moved to Sagnaw, Sagnaw Co., MI sometime between 1865 and 1873. They have 2 known sons, according to the 1900 US Census for Saganaw. Adult sons, Frederick A. and John H. were living with them because it appears that John, the father, had suffered a stroke and "has had paralysis". John, the father was born in Yorkshire, England in 1838 and his wife Harriet was born in Nilestown, Ontario, Canada in 1837. If you know anything about this family, I would appreciate hearing from you. Harriet was my GGG Aunt. Thank you for your help in this matter.

MCCLAREN, MCCLERAN, MCLAREN, MCLERAN posted by Mary Hetzel on Wednesday, March 24, 1999

The 1860 Census for Ionia County, Ionia Twp. lists Nancy McCLAREN with children Albert, Alfred and Alvord. I believe her to be the widow of Peter McLaren who in 1850 resided in Washtenaw Co., Mi. Children listed at that time included Archibald, Clinton, Dorcus, Albert, and Alfred. I would like to exchange family information with any descendants of these people. I have information regarding Alvord, from whom my husband descends and Albert's descendants. Would like to know when and where Peter and Nancy died and the maiden name of Nancy. They had resided in New York State prior to coming to Michigan and am interested in which county in NY. Mary

GOULD, HALL, MEAD, STORMAN, TAYLOR posted by Marilyn Bertelsen on Tuesday, March 30, 1999

I am searching Ionia County information for anything on my grandmother, Myrtle (Hall) Brown. Hew father was William Henry Hall, and I have obtained his obituary. But it does not mention his deceased wife (Nettie Gould Hall), nor his daughter. I have obtained death and marriage records that prove this is the correct person, but I don't understand why his obituary would be incomplete. The obituary said he had two sisters, a Mrs. William Mead and a Mrs. Storman. His mother's name was Eliza (Taylor) hall. Please help!
